The interim government has appointed 5 additional secretaries to the post of secretaries on contractual basis. All 5 of these officers who became secretaries are of BCS 82 batch.
This information was given in a notification on Saturday.
The appointees are – Dr. Nasimul Gani to the President’s Office, MA Akmal Hossain Azad to the Ministry of Railways, Dr. Sheikh Abdur Rashid is the secondary and higher education department, Ehchanul Haque is the road transport and highway department and Dr. Mohammad Abdul Momen has been given the responsibility of public security department.
