Sylhet Gas Fields Ltd. Jatiyatabadi Sramik Dal Employees Union B-1106 Fascism Awami League government-backed leaders Pradeep Kumar Sharma, Bashir Uddin, Nazrul Islam and Ilias Ali have been accused of violating party discipline, including violating party discipline.

According to the complaint source, on July 24, 2017, on the recommendation of the then Sylhet-4 constituency MP late Dildar Hossain Selim, the accused, with the permission of the Sylhet District Sramik Dal President/General Secretary, joined the committee of Sramik Dal Employees Union B-1106 in various positions and formed the CBA on February 22, 2018, with the support of the Jatiyatabadi Sramik Dal.
After the formation of the CBA, Pradeep Kumar Sharma, Bashir Uddin, Nazrul Islam and Ilyas Ali deviated from the nationalist ideology and started working as the “B-Team” of the fascist Awami League government and seized various benefits. Later, in the CBA elections of October 15, 2020, the Nationalist Workers’ Party B-1106 used the pictures of Awami League President, autocratic Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on its banners, posters, and leaflets, and wrote slogans like “Joy Bangla”, “Joy Bangabandhu”, causing bleeding in the hearts of BNP leaders and activists. Similarly, they campaigned and were defeated in the CBA elections of November 28, 2022.

Meanwhile, on December 11, 2022, the then President Pradeep Kumar Sharma, before going to India for treatment, appointed Bashir Ahmed, who was elected as the Welfare Secretary under the banner of the Awami League Employees’ League, as the Vice-President and Ilyas Ali, the Publicity Secretary, as the Finance Secretary by co-opting him. Which is against the constitution of BNP and its affiliated organizations, they claimed. When Pradeep Kumar recovered and returned to work, the accused participated in various programs of Awami League after Mujib Court and participated in various programs in Tungipara and promoted their activities in various ways including social media.

After the student-people’s movement, the Awami League government gave a go, the leaders are trying to start working as the Workers’ Party Union B-1106. Bashir Uddin, a leader supported by the Awami Fascist Awami League government, and Abdul Malek, former Finance Secretary of Sylhet Gas Fields Limited Nationalist Workers’ Party Union B-1106, complained demanding the removal of Ilias.

In this regard, the accused Ilias said, I am in BNP politics and nothing outside of it. One party is spreading propaganda against us. Bashir Ahmed said, we were and are in BNP. We are forced to participate in various days due to the convenience of our jobs. One party is spreading propaganda against us.

Jaintapur Upazila Chhatra Dal convener Shaon Ahmed said, we want Sylhet Gas Fields Limited Nationalist Workers’ Party Employees Union B-1106 Fascist Awami League government workers to have no place. Proven nationalist workers should be given a place. The accused should be removed after investigation.

When asked about this, former Upazila BNP convener ABM Zakaria said, Bashir Uddin and Ilias have played an active role in the Fascist Awami League by abandoning the ideology of BNP politics. It is not uncommon for them to play the role of BNP again after August 5. As a BNP worker, I demand their immediate expulsion.

When asked about this, Upazila Youth Dal convener and Darvast UP Chairman Baharul Alam Bahar said, the matter has been presented to me with documents. I have recommended that action be taken after investigation.

Jaintapur Upazila BNP President and former Fatehpur (Haripur) U/P Chairman Abdur Rashid said, “These are the ultimate enemies of BNP, they have destroyed BNP. When BNP has turned around, they are thinking of returning to the party. Demonstrative action needs to be taken against them.”
