The crowd has arrested Sadek Member (40), the organizing secretary of the Awami League of Gopaya Union in Habiganj Sadar Upazila. Later, he was handed over to Sadar Police Station with good means. He is a resident of Dhuliakhal village. Yesterday, at 7 pm, the student crowd detained him and handed him over to the police.
It is learned that he took part in the August 4 student movement with a stick on behalf of the Awami League. He was identified after watching the video. The police said that he will be arrested in the case of vandalism and arson of the BNP office in the city’s cinema hall area. Sadar OC Alamgir Kabir said that the student crowd handed him over to the police station. He will be arrested and sent to court in the Tahir Badi case.
