Acting Chairman of BNP Tariq Rahman has called upon the party’s leaders and workers at all levels to help the flood-affected people. He made this call in his social media status on Wednesday.
The Acting Chairman said the devastating flash floods have hit four districts in the eastern and southeastern regions of Bangladesh, leaving lakhs of people stranded in numerous villages. Requesting the government to take necessary steps to protect family, livelihood and property in these districts. All levels of BNP leaders and workers are called upon to help the affected people with shelter, food and logistics, humanitarian relief.
He said, we must always uphold humanity and stand by each other in times of crisis.
