Citizens’ rally to improve the quality of education in Srimangal

A citizen’s rally was held in Srimangal, Moulvibazar, with the participation of school guardians and other stakeholders to improve the quality of education.

The meeting was held at West Srimangal Government Primary School in Srimangal Sadar Union on Wednesday (February 19) at 10:30 am.

The meeting was organized by the Active Citizen’s Group (ACG), SANAC-TIB and organized by West Srimangal Government Primary School. Upazila Education Officer Md. Rafiqul Islam was present as the chief guest.

Presided over by the school’s headmaster Suborna Chakraborty and moderated by TIB Area Coordinator Md. Abu Bakar, SANAC President Deependra Chandra Bhattacharya and former President Syed Nesar Ahmed were present as special guests.

The event was addressed by Education Committee Co-Chair Jannatul Ambia, Member Md. Abdur, Member Nitesh Sutradhar and ACG Co-Coordinator Tahmina Akhter Rumi. In addition, about two hundred guardians including YES and ACG members were present at the meeting.
