For more than two decades, renowned producer Hanif Sanket has been highlighting our folk culture, history and tradition with foreign citizens in every episode of the popular magazine program ‘Etiyadi’.
By making foreigners act in the roles of simple village people in Bengali instead of their mother tongue, our folk culture, rural superstitions, various anomalies, social problems, rural sports, etc. are highlighted.
Production company Fagun Audio Vision said that citizens of various countries including Japan, Italy, Netherlands, Australia, France, China, Sweden, Romania, Denmark, Indonesia, Paraguay, and the United States participated in this episode. Who are working in various embassies and foreign institutions in this country.
Hanif Sanket has created a play about rumors about these foreigners this Eid. Spreading rumors within a family can lead to strained relationships, family strife, and mental turmoil. This year’s episode of foreigners is about strained relationships. There is also a song and dance with their participation.
When asked about his experience working with foreigners, Hanif Sanket said, “They are amateurs, but many professional artists also have a lot to learn from them. I am especially impressed by the punctuality, dedication, concentration, tolerance for hardship, and sincerity of foreigners. The spiritual bond that is formed with foreigners in just a few days of acquaintance will never be forgotten. I hope that this episode, like every time, will give the audience a lot of joy.”
