Sylhet Metropolitan Police (SMP) Commissioner Md. Rezaul Karim PPM-Service said that if the ideals left by mystic saint Hasan Raja through his writings, songs and literary works are followed, unrest and chaos will disappear from society. The practice and development of mystic philosophy removes injustice and lawlessness from society. This philosophy increases people’s compassion and sympathy for people. Hasan Raja was a high-level person. If we manage ourselves by embracing his ideals, we can also become high-level people.

He said these things as the chief guest at the inauguration ceremony of the 2025-27 Central Executive Committee of Hasan Raja Folk Literature and Culture Council Sylhet, Bangladesh in the conference room of a restaurant in Taltala of the city on Saturday afternoon.

The program was presided over by Hason Raja Folk Literature and Culture Council Sylhet, Bangladesh President Zahirul Islam Achinpuri. He said that mystical philosophy, unlike materialistic philosophy, will play a role in establishing peace in the world. We all have to first build ourselves by embracing and practicing the philosophy of mystical saints including Hason Raja. Only then will this philosophy spread in the society.

Special guests who spoke at the program were former principal of Madan Mohan College Lt. Col. (Retd.) M Ataur Rahman Pir, General Secretary of the Central Muslim Sahitya Sangsad Salim Awal, Deputy Commissioner of Police (North) of SMP Md. Sajib Khan, vocalist and composer Himanshu Biswas, and playwright Shahed Mosharraf Kotai Mia.
