A 5-day training program for teachers from various tea gardens and haor areas of primary schools in Bahubal Upazila of Habiganj district has been inaugurated in Srimangal, Moulvibazar.

31 teachers from 10 schools participated in the training on effective learning methods, teaching materials and evaluation of students.

The training program was inaugurated on Sunday (March 16) in the hall of a hotel on Sagardighi Road in Srimangal town.

Jafar Iqbal Chowdhury, CEO of ACE Habiganj, was present as a guest at the inaugural ceremony of the training organized by the development organization ACE Habiganj and funded by Child Aid Network Germany.

Zahidur Rahman, founding member of ACE Habiganj, Program Manager Ashiq Iqbal Chowdhury and Trainer Jasim Mostaq were present as special guests at the ceremony.

It is learned that the training will strengthen teachers on how to teach students joyful and action-oriented learning methods and techniques. In addition, teachers will be provided with 5-day training on various topics such as identifying weaknesses in teaching methods in schools, teachers’ perspectives, areas of child development, school classroom environment, child behavior and characteristics, ensuring good governance and evaluation of education, etc.
