The army chief also said that Sheikh Hasina’s life was in danger if she was in the country. The situation was very heated.

He said these things in an interview on YouTube channel ‘Nagrik TV’. Mentioning that the army is supporting the interim government in the interview, he said, everyone should be patient. The mess of 16 years will not be solved in 16 days. In response to the question why many people are still in the army and they are not being removed, he said that the investigation is still going on. After the investigation, action will be taken. There are many issues. which are under investigation. That’s why we are taking time, proof will be required, no action can be taken against anyone if it is not proved. This work is progressing a bit slowly. Now let’s see, there are several things we need to do.

When asked how the army views those who are trying to create an unstable situation with various demands like Ansar forces, the army chief said, we are definitely countering it. Such a problem arose in RAB. We tried to calm them down. Many are now in various kinds of trouble. Still we have to solve them slowly with patience. We have taken measures against Ansar. Nine divisions worked. and restrained the Ansar.

In response to a question that it was right to give safe exit to Sheikh Hasina or she should have been kept in the country for trial, she said that it would have been a problem if she had been kept there in a hot moment at that time. And the first thing is that I was talking to the political parties. Then some people told me that he is leaving. He is ready to run. So I did not know that he was leaving the country. Still I think that his life would have been in danger if he had been in the country. No one would want one to be extrajudicially killed. It is not desirable at all. The situation was very heated.

He said, I am hopeful that if everyone works together, it will be possible to reform the country. And we will be able to go to a nice democratic process. We are working together. I am also working with them. I am helping this government. We will go to that goal, we must go. Because there is no going back from here. People should be patient. The first is that there is a lot of misinformation going around. As far as I can see, 95 percent of the news they get is false. All this news is presented by mixing truth with lies. It gives people a wrong impression. I would say people should be patient and know the real facts.

On the question of whether the media is working properly, he said, many are doing it, many are playing a responsible role. They are not spreading news by mixing lies with truth like this. They still have more work to do. I am sure they will do more. The media will gradually become more active if given time. First of all, we need to be more patient. This mess of 16 years will not be solved in 16 days, if we can solve it in 16 months it will definitely be a good thing. There have been many problems, problems within the bureaucracy, problems within the police. Problems are everywhere. So you have to give some time to solve them. This government has to give time. If we become impatient, it will surely not be right. This government is working. We are fully supporting them.

In response to another question, he said, now government officials work with the government whenever it exists. This does not mean that everyone supports dictatorship. Be it dictatorship or whatever, they have to do the daily work. They did that. did some good. did something bad But panic cannot be created in this way. Sealing everyone like this and taking action against everyone is not right.

Of course, those who are guilty should be found and punished. This administration will not work if it creates panic. No one will work. Everyone will be scared. As such there is a problem in the police. A huge trauma is working in them. So if this trauma prevails then it will not happen. They need to be brought out of this trauma.
