Bollywood actor Salman Khan has spoken out against online trolling and body shaming. In a promo for the *Bigg Boss* ‘Weekend Ka Vaar’ episode—without explicitly naming anyone—he criticized those who mock others based on weight, appearance, family, laughter, and even motherhood. Indian actress Richa Chadha has praised Salman for these remarks.

Salman asked, “Why do you want to troll? Whether it is about someone’s weight, appearance, family, laughter, failures, or even becoming a mother—you are actually revealing your own upbringing.”

Speaking to the media outlet *News18* about Salman’s comments, Richa said, “I wasn’t aware he had spoken about this. But it is a wonderful thing. Speaking up like this truly reflects a broad-minded attitude.”

Richa also discussed the natural physical changes women undergo after childbirth. In her view, mothers should not be ridiculed for these physical changes. She added that those who troll others regarding motherhood came into the world through a mother themselves; therefore, mocking mothers could lead to dire consequences.

Richa Shares Her Own Experience

The *Heeramandi* actress has spoken out against body shaming in the past. She has publicly shared her own experiences with eating disorders while working in Bollywood. Richa has also criticized comments made on social media regarding actresses’ weight after childbirth. Salman’s recent comments coincided with ongoing online discussions criticizing the appearance and physique of celebrities.

Richa’s New Series on Postpartum Experience

Meanwhile, Richa has created a non-fiction YouTube series titled *Musafiri*, based on her own postpartum experiences. She is the creator, writer, producer, and host of the series.

Richa said, “There is no room here to worry about my beauty or appearance. I cannot concern myself with whether I weigh more now compared to when people last saw me. After all, I am creating a show about my postpartum journey.”

To complete the series, Richa has filmed in various locations, including Dharavi. The actress stated that while working there, she deliberately chose not to prioritize her attire or outward appearance.
