The incident took place in the room of a private organization called Mathrubhumi Group in Rupayaan Taj Bhawan on Calvert Road in Paltan on Thursday around 10:15 PM.

The deceased Md. Emon and Farhad Bhola are residents of Charakchapia area of ​​Ward No. 9 of Badarpur Union of Lalmohan Upazila. Both of them are known to have worked in that private company.

The police initially believe that they died of alcohol poisoning. But the relatives cannot accept this.

After the autopsy, the police handed over the body to the relatives on Friday afternoon. After that, the relatives took the body to their village home in Char Kachhpiya area of ​​Badarpur Union of Lalmohan on Saturday morning. After the funeral, they were buried in the family cemetery.

It is known that Emon was working as an office assistant in Matrubhumi Group in Dhaka for 9 years. He is the youngest among three brothers and one sister in a poor family.
On the other hand, going to Farhad’s house, it is known that Farhad is the younger of the two brothers. His father’s agricultural work runs their family. Farhad left home about 3 years ago in search of work to help his farmer father Abdul Jalil. He started working in the same office with Eamon for some time last month.

Ram Kanai, SI and investigation officer of Paltan Model Police Station, said, “We went to the spot and entered by breaking the door after receiving the information. At that time, one of the two had vomit and blood on the mouth of the other. After that we rescued them and sent them to Dhaka Medical College Hospital. After being taken there, the doctor on duty declared them dead. The actual cause of death will be known after the autopsy report. Currently, a case of wrongful death has been registered in the police station.
