Quota reform and anti-discrimination initiative of Al-Qur’an Education Council Sylhet Bangladesh in the historical movement of students

A doa mahfil was held to pray for the souls of all the martyrs including the martyred journalist Abu Taher Md Turab (ATM Turab) of Sylhet and for the recovery of the injured.

On Thursday (September 19) afternoon, a prayer meeting and discussion meeting was held in front of the Collectorate Jame Masjid.

President of Al-Quran Education Council Shaikhul Qorra Maulana Qari Sirajul Islam presided over and joint general secretary Hafiz Maulana Qari Chahul Ahmad addressed the meeting. Saidur Rahman and others.

The speakers in the meeting said that the people of Bengal will never forget the torture that the autocratic killer Sheikh Hasina has inflicted on the people including the country’s scholars and ulama. Indiscriminate firing by the police to quell the anti-discrimination student movement has killed scores of students, a heinous act. The souls of the martyrs will be at peace only if the speakers punish the dictatorial murderer Hasina by bringing her to Bangladesh. The speakers thanked the agitators for giving a new Bangladesh through anti-discrimination students’ agitation.

Later, the program ended with prayers for the souls of all the martyrs including martyred journalist ATM Turab in the anti-quota and anti-discrimination movement and for the speedy recovery of the injured and the well-being of the country and nation.
