BNP central co-organizing secretary Miftah Siddiqui said that while the people of Sylhet are passing the day with starvation and semi-starvation, the Awami League minister MPs are enjoying the joyous festival. Some people are traveling abroad wearing wind.

‘And the leaders and activists of BNP and affiliated organizations are on the side of Banvasi people. Awami League gives the full jury of development all around or development and development. But the people of the country are not seeing development. The people of Sylhet are floating in the water of Ban.

He said, Sylhet’s beloved leader M Saifur Rahman did not even come close to this development of Awami League. He went to people’s houses in the terrible flood. But the current ministers are taking royal tours in the name of flood inspection, leaving people stranded and traveling abroad. If he was alive, he would not have left you in this difficult time. Therefore, Awami League should give a toothless response to these misdeeds in time.

He said the above words in his chief guest speech on Friday (June 21) during the distribution of food items to the water-logged flood-affected people at two separate places under the initiative of Ward No. 25 and 26 BNP.

Ward No. 25 Bangbir Road was presided over by Ward BNP President Bachchu Miah and managed by General Secretary Suleiman Hossain Sumon. Ward BNP President Akhtar Rashid Chowdhury presided over Ward No. 26 Technical Road and General Secretary MA Mannan managed it.
