The executive council meeting of Mahalaya Udjakar Parishad Srihatt-1431 Bangabd was held on Friday at 11 o’clock at Sri Sri Balram Jiur Akhara in Mirabazar, Sylhet city.

President of the Parishad Binay Bhushan Talukdar and General Secretary Bangladesh Bank Joint Director Jyoti Mohan Biswas and Joint General Secretary Banker Dwipak Kumar Das spoke as the chief guest in the meeting- Educator and philanthropist retired Professor Prashant Kumar Saha.

The special guest spoke – Dr. Shahjalal University of Science and Technology. Himadri Shekhar Roy, heroic freedom fighter Chitatta Ranjan Dev, chief coordinator of the Parishad teacher Swapan Chakraborty.

Patron of the Parishad Ashok Ranjan Chowdhury, Vice President Kavi Suman Banik, Immigration Advisor Niranjan Chandra Chand, Joint General Secretary Banker Arun Kumar Biswas, Joint Secretary Rajat Chakraborty, Deputy Registrar Santosh Ranjan Pal, Professor Nihar Ranjan Roy, Professor Jyotish spoke in the meeting. Kumar Das, Advocate Dipan Acharya, Co-Organizing Secretary Pubali Bank Officer Vinayak Chakraborty Shuvo, Souvik Malakar and Shuvojit Roy on behalf of Shabiprabi Sanatan Vidyarthi Sangsad.

In the meeting, various sub-committees were constituted for the smooth completion of the 3-day annual Mahalaya festival. The last preparatory meeting of the council will be held on Friday, September 27 at the same place at 10 am.

In this urgent meeting, all the respected advisers, sponsors and executive council members of the council have been requested by the chief coordinator teacher Swapan Chakraborty, president Vinay Bhushan Talukder and general secretary Jyoti Mohan Biswas, joint director of Bangladesh Bank, to attend the meeting on time.
