On the initiative of the Sylhet Divisional Commissioner’s Office, the Purity Award for the fiscal year 2023-24 has been awarded like every year.

On Monday (June 24) the Purity Award ceremony was organized in the meeting room of Sylhet Divisional Commissioner’s office.

Sylhet Divisional Commissioner Abu Ahmed Siddiqui NDC gave the purity award.

In the event, among the District Commissioners under Sylhet Division, the District Commissioner of Moulvibazar District. Urmi Binte Salam, Divisional Commissioner’s Office Sylhet Grade 02-09 among employees Shahidul Islam Sohag, Senior Assistant Commissioner Grade 10-16 among employees Dilip Kumar Roy, Assistant Administrative Officer Md. Enamul Haque Jubel, Office Assistant cum Computer Numerologist and Grade 17-20 employees. Sanitation worker Laesh Ali was given the Cleanliness Award for the fiscal year 2023-24.

Annual Performance Agreement or ‘APA’ was introduced from the financial year 2014-15 at the Ministry/Department level with the aim of increasing efficiency and accountability in government activities, bringing in dynamism, improving service quality and increasing the efficiency of institutions. A government office signs this agreement with the higher authorities according to a specific framework keeping in mind its agenda, various development plans, policies and strategies of the government.

In continuation of this, the office of the divisional commissioner has executed the annual performance agreement 2024-25 with all the district commissioners’ offices under the Sylhet division.
