Commerce, Industry and Textiles and Jute Minister Khandaker Abdul Muktadir MP has warned that any attempt to destabilize the country through planned terrorism will be dealt with firmly.

He said that when the country is moving forward in a democratic and orderly manner, a circle is doing its best to destroy the peace and stability of the country. But their plan will never succeed in the face of united resistance of people and conscious leaders and activists.

He said this while addressing the chief guest at the pre-destination rally organized by the Sylhet Metropolitan BNP at the city’s registry ground as part of the central program on Saturday (September 26) afternoon “against the destabilization of the country through planned terrorism”.

At the end of the rally, a huge procession came out and circled the various roads of the city.

The commerce minister said in the gathering that the government is working tirelessly to ensure the welfare of the common people of the country. Successful initiatives are being taken to remove various tariff barriers in international trade along with strict surveillance to keep the market situation of daily necessities stable. He said that any attempt to create violence by any group will be dealt with politically on the streets.
