On the occasion of Autumn Durga Puja-2024 celebrations, the District Superintendent of Police held an exchange meeting with the leaders of Puja Celebration Parishad of Moulvibazar district.

This discussion meeting was held in the meeting room of the Moulvibazar Police Superintendent’s office on Wednesday afternoon.

Additional Superintendent of Police (Administration & Finance) Sudarshan Kumar Roy presided over the meeting, Superintendent of Police MKH Jahangir Hossain PPM-Service.

In the meeting, with the aim of making the upcoming Autumn Durga Puja celebrations smooth and safe, it was decided to resolve the disputes through discussion in the conflicting pujamandaps, and to ensure the safety of the pujamandaps by appointing volunteers during the making of the idols, instead of organizing separate pujamandaps in the same neighborhood, it was decided to celebrate the puja collectively in a single mandap.

For the sake of the security of the Pujamandap, the district police called for the smooth celebration of the puja through the active participation of the local communal harmony committee by installing CCTV cameras.

Moulvibazar District Additional Superintendent of Police (DSB) Mohsin, Additional Superintendent of Police (Sadar Circle) Md. Ajmal Hossain, Additional Superintendent of Police (Kulaura Circle) Dipankar Ghosh, Assistant Superintendent of Police (Srimangal Circle) Anisur Rahman are the officers in charge of all police stations in the district. All upazilas and important puja mandap committee leaders including president, secretary of Moulvibazar Puja Celebration Parishad participated in the meeting.
