Retired policeman and his wife left their house and are destitute today in the clutches of Sramik League worker Arjat Ali and his daughter in Pul Bahula No. 2 of Habiganj city. A case has even been filed for taking money from them on interest. Policeman Sanjab Ali was acquitted from that case. Discussion and criticism are going on.

It is known that policeman Sanjab Ali took money from Arjat Ali by paying interest. This money is 8 lakhs in interest. Arjat Ali filed a case against Sanjab Ali in court. In view of the case, the Joint Sessions Judge of the 1st Court fined Sanjab Ali 8 lakh taka. Following this order, Sanjab Ali filed an appeal by depositing Tk 4 lakh in the District and Sessions Judge Court. Following the appeal, learned Additional Sessions Judge Md Yashir Arafat acquitted Sanjab Ali as the case was proved false. Along with that, he ordered to return his deposit of 4 lakhs to Sanjab Ali.

On the other hand, Arjat Ali’s daughter Ruby Akhtar filed another check dishonor case against Sanjab Ali’s wife Noor Jahan. In that case, Sanjab Ali and his wife complained that he had compromised by taking 3.5 lakh taka unfairly from him. Arjat Ali, being a laborer’s league worker, influenced Sanjab Ali and his wife and many others by paying interest on their houses and houses.
