A colorful rally and discussion meeting was held in Jaintapur, Sylhet on the occasion of the celebration of World Teachers’ Day. World Teachers’ Day-2024 has been organized by Upazila Administration and Upazila Secondary Education Office with the theme of ‘Teacher’s voice as a new social commitment in education’.

On Saturday (October 5) around 10 am, a colorful rally started from the Jaintapur Upazila Parishad square on the occasion of World Teachers’ Day and circled the main main road of the upazila and came back to the upazila.

Later, a discussion meeting was held on the occasion of World Teachers’ Day-2024 at the Jaintapur Upazila Parishad hall. Upazila Secondary Academic Supervisor Azizul Haque Khokon chaired the discussion meeting under the direction of Jaintapur Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Ground) Miz Farzana Akhter Labani.

Upazila Education Officer Abed Hasan, Headmaster of Haripur Bahumukhi High School Nazir Ali Sarkar, Headmaster of Sarighat High School Badiul Alam, Headmaster of Khazar Mokam High School Mo Jalal Uddin, Lecturer of Taiyab Ali Degree College were present and spoke as special guests.
