Residents including students and teachers have formed a human chain and protested to withdraw the false case filed against Abdus Salam, a guest teacher of Government Technical School and College in Moulvibazar and demand his release.

On Wednesday (October 9) at Moulvibazar Press Club’s human chain and protest meeting, students said – Our sir has been imprisoned for 7 months on false charges. He treated the students as his own sons and daughters, brothers and sisters. Our beloved teacher has been arrested and defamed in a false case related to women. There are many girl students in our school. Till date no one has any complaint against this sir. We demand withdrawal of the false case filed against our innocent sir and his release.

The students also said – if this false case is withdrawn and our sir is not freed, then a strict movement will be called by gathering all the students of the district city. The Principal of Moulvibazar Government Technical School and College said – Abdus Salam, a guest teacher of our school and college, has been arrested and imprisoned in a false case. He was an alumnus of A School and College and currently serving as a guest teacher of A School and College.
Also spoke at the protest meeting, Md. Abdul Mannan, Md. Jisanur Rahman, Md. Shamsul Islam, Mimi Akhter, Suchitra Malakar, Md. Hanif, Srijani Dev, Md. Tanjim Ahmad, Abdul Kamal, brother of teacher Abdus Salam and father Abdul Alim, etc.
