RAB 01 arrested Abdul Ahad (50), the organizational secretary of Awami League in Baniachang Upazila of Habiganj district and the chairman of Makrampur Union.

He was arrested from Dhaka’s Uttara with the help of information technology on Thursday afternoon. He is currently in RAB custody.

According to RAB, RAB raided Dhaka’s Uttara on the basis of secret information at noon. Abdul Ahad was arrested at this time. He is currently in RAB custody. There are multiple murder cases against him in Baniachong Police Station and Habiganj Sadar Police Station. According to sources, he was on his way to the airport to flee abroad. But before that he was arrested from Uttara. Ahad stayed in Dhaka a few days ago after being chased by the Detective Police DB.

Meanwhile, SI Abdullah Azad of Habiganj Sadar police station has left for Dhaka in the afternoon to fetch him. It is said that he will be brought at night.
