A farmer named Sahab Uddin (35) was hacked to death by rival people in Mandari village of Baniachang upazila of Habiganj over money owed. This incident happened on Sunday afternoon. The deceased Sahab Uddin is the son of Alim Uddin of that village.

It is known that Sahabuddin received money from Awami League worker Rafizul, son of Shukur Ali of that village. At that time yesterday, Rafizul, Shukur Ali, Tauhidul had a discussion with Sahabuddin when he went to fetch money. At one point, he attacked Sahabuddin with native weapons.
