Mastermind Sylhet District Jubo Dal leader Abul Hasim was engaged in an attempt to keep the import-export trade committee of the big business center Tamabil land port axed. He wanted to attack the Tamabil land port by claiming himself as president. On August 18, he spread the rumor of ‘Awami League Dalal Mukt’ with a post on his Facebook ID and quickly formed a new working committee with 31 members using the name of President Seje Tamabil Stone Importers Group. A person named Zahid Khan was named as the general secretary of the said committee. The next day, on August 19, he held a press conference at the Jaintapur Press Club, calling for the formation of a new committee elected by the vote of genuine business members to keep business and trade normal. He also shared the issue of that press conference on his personal Facebook ID. It is mysterious but true that on August 18, without any announcement, a new executive committee was formed with the alleged officials of the syndicate claiming to be the president. He then felt no need to inform the prominent dignitaries of the larger Jaintavasi area. He misused his power of manipulation and completed the formation of the 31-member executive committee by pointing the finger at 17 parganas. The very next day he used the media to hold a press conference at the Jaintapur Press Club with the alleged members of the new committee. Which beats even a fairy tale. Besides, he chose Jaintapur Press Club several times to get himself in front of the media. As soon as he covered his misdeeds, he approached the press club. But after sharing the post of joint secretary of Sylhet District Youth Dal, he became more active. One of his brothers is the top leader of Awami League while another brother is the upazila BNP leader. At present, they are two brothers in the same room and are sucking district and upazila with two posts.

Meanwhile, a related source said that there is a policy for the formation of the former Tamabil land port import-export trade committee. It will be an extreme violation of the policy if a new executive committee is formed as desired, ignoring that policy. This Bhuiford ‘forcible seizure’ committee formation and press conference was completed Iwas. This undermined the quality of the Import-Export Commercial Operations Committee of the large business center Tamabil Land Port.

Before this, three other reports of irregularities and corruption against the alleged youth leader Abul Hasim and his syndicate group were published, but the administration did not budge.
