Anti-corruption discussion meeting and distribution of educational materials were held in Srimangal, Moulvibazar.
The discussion meeting was held at Srimangal Victoria High School Auditorium at 11 am on Thursday (November 14). Mohammad Ershad Mia, Deputy Director of the Anti-Corruption Commission, Habiganj District Integrated Office, was present as the chief guest in the meeting.
Under the chairmanship of Senior Journalist Syed Nesar Ahmed, President of DUPROC Srimangal and moderated by Member Journalist Syed Sayed Ahmed, the event was attended by special guests including Sreemangal Upazila Secondary Education Officer Dilip Kumar Bardhan, Assistant Headmaster of Victoria High School Md. Abdur Rahman. DUPROC Vice President ANM Wahiduzzaman and Member Doctor Pushpita Khastagir spoke at the event.
The students included Surdhendu Bhattacharya, assistant teacher of Victoria High School, Abhirup Chowdhury, a class 8 student, and Anika Hossain, a class 9 student of Srimangal Government Girls High School.
With the cooperation of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC), educational materials were distributed to more than 200 students in 5 educational institutions of the upazila. The materials included school bags, geometry boxes, scales, umbrellas, tippin boxes, water flasks, and notebooks.
