Mother, brother and niece were killed by Satchel in Ramgati of Lakshmipur. All three of them were killed by the killer. The murder took place at Mofiz Sardar’s house on the west side of Hajiganj Bazar, Ward No. 8 of Char Poragacha Union No. 3 of the upazila around 7:30 pm on Saturday.

Ripon first killed his stepmother Chakhina Begum (40) with a throw and slit her throat after closing the door of the residence around 7:30 pm on Saturday. On seeing the matter, younger brother Mahin (6) and niece Faria (4) came forward and Ripon killed them by slitting their throats.

Later, the locals rushed to see the bodies of the victims lying on the ground in a bloody state. At that time, the killer Ripon wanted to run away and the locals caught him and arrested him. After informing the police, the police came and arrested him.

Ramgati Police Station OC Mosle Uddin said that the killer has been arrested. The reason for the murder will be known during the interrogation. The process of recovering the body is going on.
