On the occasion of the great Victory Day on December 16, Moulvibazar District Police has honored the brave freedom fighters and martyred family members.

Today, Monday afternoon, the reception ceremony was presided over by District Police Superintendent M, K, H, Jahangir Hossain PPM-Seba at the drill shed of Moulvibazar Police Lines.
In his speech, the District Police Superintendent said, the brave freedom fighters and those who were martyred in the war are the best children of the nation. In 1971, you took up arms for the country, risking your lives. We got independence because of your bravery. He also said, Bangladesh Police also built the first resistance of the Liberation War from Rajarbagh. As police members, this is a matter of pride for all of us. At this time, the brave freedom fighters of the police presented their various operations and war history in the Liberation War. Later, the District Police Super presented flowers and gifts to the family members of the honored freedom fighters and martyred freedom fighters.

The program was moderated by Additional Police Superintendent (Crime and Ops) Md. Shamsul Haque. Additional Police Superintendent (Administration and Finance) Sudarshan Kumar Roy (promoted to the post of Police Superintendent), Additional Police Superintendent (Sadar Circle) Md. Ajmal Hossain and police members of various ranks of the District Police were also present.
