The government has ordered all coaching centers across the country to remain closed from today for admission tests in government and private medical colleges. All coaching centers in the country will remain closed from Wednesday morning to January 22 night.

It is learned that the admission test for MBBS courses in all government and private medical colleges for the 2024-25 academic year will be held on January 17. And the admission test for dental colleges will be held on February 18.

To ensure transparency in the medical admission test, the Directorate General of Health Education (DGME) issued a notification in this regard on Tuesday.

The notification said that the admission test will be held simultaneously at 19 centers across the country for admission of students to MBBS courses in government and private medical colleges. The medical college admission test has been held with the utmost transparency so far. The government’s top policymakers are vigilant about conducting the test with transparency.

As part of the government’s precautionary measures and to ensure maximum transparency, caution and impartiality, in light of the instructions of the Medical Education-1 Branch of the Health Education and Family Welfare Department of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, it has been decided to close coaching centers run by individuals and institutions at all levels from January 1 to January 22.

Strict action will be taken against those who violate this decision. For this, the law enforcement agencies are always vigilant. All concerned are requested to follow the instructions.
