Police have recovered the body of a mentally unstable person named Manjab Ali (53) from a land next to the new stadium in Habiganj city.
After seeing the body lying there around 10:30 am on Sunday, a police team led by SI Humayun Kabir informed the Sadar Police Station and sent the body to the morgue. He is the son of the deceased Rawshan Ali of Lukra Madhya village in Sadar upazila.
Citing the family, the police said that no signs of injury were found on the body. “In addition, he was a vagrant. Most of the time, he used to roam around in different places. He left his house yesterday morning. After that, he did not return.
OC Alamgir Kabir said that his family and relatives have applied to the District Executive Magistrate to take the body without an autopsy.”
