The leaders and activists of Chhatra League and Jubo League took out a march in Habiganj city. On Saturday evening, January 18, a procession was held in support of the hartal in Chowdhury Bazar under the leadership of Chhatra League leader Sujan Ahmed of Natirabad. Their procession caused panic among the common people of the area.
Locals alleged that various accused of the anti-discrimination student movement were present in the procession. Chhatra League leader Tarek Mahmud, Mehedi Hasan Fahim, Jubo League leader Fahim, Abdul Malek, among others, were present in the procession.
The procession circled various roads of the city.
