BNP has formed an 8-member relief collection committee to help the flood-affected people. Standing committee member Professor Dr. AZM Zahid Hossain has been made the convener and Joint Secretary General Advocate Abdus Salam Azad as the member secretary of this committee. This information was informed in a press release signed by senior joint secretary general of the party Ruhul Koki Rizvi on Saturday.

The members of the relief collection committee are – Mahila Dal’s central president Afroza Abbas, BNP’s co-health secretary Dr. Pervez Reza Kakon, central president of Krishak Dal Hasan Jafir Tuhin, central senior vice president of Juba Dal, Rezaul Karim Paul, central senior vice president of Volunteer Dal, Yasin Ali and central senior vice president of Chhatra Dal, Abu Afsan Md. Yahya.

The notification also said that dry food, children’s clothes, candles, wall decorations, pure water and essential medicines will be collected at the party’s Nayapaltan BNP central office to help the people affected by the catastrophic floods. People from all walks of the country are requested to provide relief materials to the BNP central office in Nayapaltan to help the flood victims.
