The school’s founding member and London expatriate organizer, Reful Mia, visited the Setubandhan Primary School established for students in the remote hilly areas of Srimangal, Moulvibazar.
Yesterday, Friday morning, he distributed school bags, umbrellas and various educational materials among the students of the school. The president of the school’s managing committee, former Zilla Parishad member Md. Mashiur Rahman Ripon, presided over a reception for Setubandhan Social Welfare Organization president and founder of Langliachhara Setubandhan Primary School, London expatriate Md. Reful Mia. At this time, Reful Mia said that he would soon build a brick house and make related improvements to the school, including increasing the salaries of the teachers.
It is worth noting that since there was no school within 3/4 kilometers of this remote area of Srimangal, most of the children in this area were deprived of education. The school was established in 2019 through Setubandhan Samaj Kalyan Sangstha with the special support of Reful Mia. Currently, the school has more than 60 students. At the event, the chief guest drew the government’s attention to the nationalization of the school.
Expressed his opinion.
