Four people were killed in a highway accident at Unish Mile in Osmaninagar, Sylhet. Two of them died on the spot and three more died in the hospital.
The accident occurred around 7:30 am on Sunday (February 2) when a truck and a private car collided.
Circle SP (Osmaninagar-Bishwanath) Ashrafuzzaman (PPM) confirmed the deaths.
The deceased are Shamima Yasmin (38), daughter of Mosle Uddin Bhuiyan of Amilla village under Rupganj police station in Narayanganj, and Saima Akhter Iti (35), son of deceased Saima, Ayan (6), and Suhel Bhuiyan (38), son of Milan Bhuiyan of Mograpara village under Rupganj police station. All the deceased are related brothers, sisters and nephews.
