A person named Sanjib Biswas has been arrested in the incident of idol vandalism in Bhanga upazila of Faridpur district. The District Superintendent of Police confirmed this matter and said that an investigation is underway to determine whether any other person is involved in the incident.
A press release said that the police received information about some idols being vandalized in the Harimandir and Kalimandir in Bhanga Bazar on Saturday night. After that, the Superintendent of Police and other officials arrived at the scene. At that time, a person named Sanjib Biswas was arrested.
Biswas speaks Bengali and Hindi and is said to be a resident of Nadia district of West Bengal. The police are investigating the incident.
