Sirajdikhan (Munshiganj) Representative //
A man named Nashir Sheikh (45) has been shot dead in Sirajdikhan of Munshiganj.
The incident took place last Saturday around 11:15 pm on the paved road adjacent to Malamat madrasa of the upazila. The deceased was a resident of Malamat village of Malkhanagar union of Nashir Sheikh upazila.
The younger brother of the deceased, Salim Sheikh, said that 4-5 people, including Nurul Islam’s son Salim aka Babu (28) and Nayan (25), came in the microbus around 11:15 on Saturday night and shot my brother. Immediately my brother called us and told us that he had been shot. We came and rescued him and took him to Sirajdikhan Ichapura Health Complex Hospital where the doctor declared him dead.
In this regard, Sirajdikhan police station SI Manowar Hossain said that there were bullet marks on the neck of the deceased Nashir. The body was recovered and sent to Munshiganj Sadar Hospital for autopsy. But after the post-mortem, we will be able to tell how he died.
