A refresher training workshop for professional drivers in Moulvibazar has been held.

The training workshop was held at Syed Shah Mostafa College Conference Room on Sunday (February 16) morning by the district administration and BRTA.

In the training workshop, various important topics including the importance of safe roads, causes and remedies for road accidents, rules of motor vehicle movement, traffic law, traffic signs, signals, various crimes and punitive measures under the Road Transport Act, various parts of motor vehicles, noise pollution, driving carefully in fog in winter, drivers’ hygiene rules, etiquette, respect for the law and developing a good mentality, good behavior with passengers were discussed and leaflets and brochures were distributed among the trainees.

Moulvibazar Additional District Magistrate Tanvir Hossain spoke as the chief guest at the workshop.

Moulvibazar BRTA Director Md. Habibur Rahman presided over the workshop.

Present at the event were Syed Shah Mostafa College Retired Principal Md. Mushfiqur Rahman, Assistant Director Selim Uddin, Traffic Inspector Kamrul Hasan, Moulvibazar Press Club Representative Journalist Md. Mahbubur Rahman Rahel, Civil Surgeon Representative Dr. Murad Alam.

Incidentally, refresher training for professional drivers is held every 1 month. Honorarium and lunch were distributed to each of the drivers participating in the training.
