A farewell reception was given to Hafiz Maulana Mahbub Ahmed Saleh, principal of Srimangal Anwarul Uloom Fazil Degree Madrasa in Moulvibazar. He served as the principal of Anwarul Uloom Fazil Madrasa for 16 consecutive years in his 35-year teaching career.

Thursday (February 27) was the last working day of Principal Hafiz Maulana Mahbub Ahmed Saleh. Therefore, a farewell reception ceremony was organized at the madrasa ground by his colleagues, current and former students of the madrasa.

At the ceremony, a certificate, a crest of honor, new clothes and a check of 50,000 taka were presented to the outgoing principal Hafiz Maulana Mahbub Ahmed Saleh.

The current and former students said in their speeches that for many years, they have become enlightened people with the light of knowledge through this distinguished principal. He has spread the light of knowledge among the students through his skill and honesty throughout his long journey. People of all classes and professions loved him because of his humble behavior. Thousands of scholars have been created by him. Who are working to spread the monotheism of Allah in various parts of the world.

The farewell reception was presided over by the founding principal of the madrasa, Allama Abdun Noor Baruhuzur.

The function was moderated by the teachers of the madrasa, Maulana Rashid Ali, Shamsul Islam Shamim and Sakibul Islam, and the officer-in-charge of Srimangal Police Station, Md. Aminul Islam, Secondary Education Officer Dilip Bardhan, President of Srimangal Association of America Inc. Haji Mostaq Elahi Chaman, Teachers Maulana Mohammad Abdul Wahid, Maulana Mujibur Rahman Al Madani, Nurul Ahad, Tofail Ahmed, Maulana ABM Shamsudoha Khan, Students Mohammad Kibria Hossain, Sirajul Islam Shawkat, etc.
