At an iftar and prayer mahfil for nationalist party BNP acting chairman Tarique Rahman in Srimangal, Moulvibazar, district BNP leader and former mayor Mohsin Mia Madhu said – We must forget all differences and form a non-discriminatory society. Where everyone has the equal right to speak, sit, and walk.

Regardless of religion, the country belongs to all of us, we want our society to be non-discriminatory and harmonious. Our party’s acting chairman Tarique Rahman has always wanted this. He still wants the leaders and activists of all the districts and upazilas of the country to forget their differences and work for the welfare of the common people. We are doing that work under the instructions of our leader.

On Sunday (March 9), former mayor of Srimangal Municipality, member of Moulvibazar District BNP Convening Committee, and director of National Tea Company Md. Mohsin Mia Madhu addressed the party leaders and activists at an Iftar and Doa Mahfil on behalf of BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman in Ward No. 5 of Srimangal Municipality as the chief guest.
At that time, he also said, there are some leaders who are like spring cuckoos. Spring comes to enjoy benefits, but when spring leaves, they cannot be found. We were with the people, are with them, and will be with them in the future.

He said, “We will not allow extortionists, terrorists, usurpers, looters, thieves, smugglers, and swindlers to rise high.” Those involved in such activities will be identified and brought to justice. There will be no place for miscreants in our party.”

Among others present at the Iftar and Doa Mahfil were – former general secretary of Srimangal Upazila BNP and current member of the Upazila BNP Convening Committee Md. Yakub Ali, Upazila BNP Senior Joint Convener Atiqur Rahman, Convening Committee members M. A. Qayyum, Emdadul Haque, Abdur Rahim, Mobarak Hossain, Abul Hossain, Titu Das, Municipal BNP Convening Committee senior member Md. Selim Mia, Municipal BNP Senior Joint Convener Millad Hossain Mirashdar, Joint Convener Abdul Jabbar Azad, Convening Committee members Alkas Mia, Faisal Ahmed, Nazrul Islam, District Jubo Dal Vice President Kazi Abdul Gafur, Jubo Dal leader Murad Hossain Sumon, Chhatra Dal leader Mosharraf Hossain Raj, BNP and its affiliated organizations at various levels and about two thousand people from all walks of life.
