A Qerat and Ghazal competition was organized with students from all the Qerat centers of Kalapur village of Kalapur union in Srimangal, Moulvibazar.
The competition was organized on Tuesday (March 18) under the management of Kalapur West Jame Mosque of Kalapur Union No. 5, approved by Darul Qerat Majidiya Futoli Trust.
The event was presided over by Maulana Khaled Ahmed, Imam of West Kalapur Jame Mosque, and conducted by Reza Ahmed. Md. Hafizur Rahman Chowdhury Tuhin, Joint Convener of Srimangal Upazila BNP, was present as the chief guest.
Mizanur Rahman Mizan Chairman (Mizan Moulvibazar) and Chief Qari Joynal Abedin, Head of Darul Kerat Majidiya Fultali Trust, prominent social figure Sohan Chowdhury, Director of Ideal Coaching Center Mustakim Ahmed, teachers of Kalapur Hafiziya Madrasa and Imam of Kalapur Hazari Jame Mosque, along with other dignitaries of the Kalapur area were present as special guests at the meeting.
