Kulaura (Moulvibazar) Representative //
A young man named Zayed Khan (28) died in mob thrashing while stealing fan of KG school in Kulaura, Moulvibazar. He is a resident of Balishiri village of Kulaura Sadar Union.
The incident happened on Tuesday (August 28) at around two o’clock in the night in the same village.
It is known that when he tried to steal a fan from a KG school in Balishiri village on Tuesday night, the locals caught him red-handed and beat him up. After receiving the news of this incident, the police reached the spot and rescued him unconscious and sent him to the local upazila health complex, where the doctor on duty declared him dead.
Vinay Bhushan Roy, officer-in-charge of Kulaura police station confirmed the truth of this incident to Morning Sun. He told reporters on Wednesday that the body of the deceased has been sent to the district headquarters hospital morgue for autopsy. If a relative of the deceased’s family complains to the police station, further legal action will be taken.
