Four friends were making a TikTok video together. At that time, one of the friends accidentally fell from the roof of a two-story building and died.
The incident took place in Dharadharpur village of Dakshin Surma area on Wednesday.
The deceased person is Sakib (18), son of Nizam Uddin of Kurigram in Kamalbazar Union of the upazila. He had been living with his family in Chadek Mia Colony of Dharadharpur area.
It is learned that on Wednesday, Shakib and three other friends went to make a TikTok video on the roof of a two-story building. At that time, Shakib accidentally fell from the second floor. Later, locals rescued him in an injured condition and took him to the hospital, where the doctor on duty there declared him dead.
Marfat Ali, investigation officer of Dakshin Surma Police Station, confirmed the truth of the incident. He said the body has been sent to the Osmani Medical College morgue for autopsy. Legal action is being taken.
