Habiganj Representative //
In Doakhani Mohalla of Baniachang Upazila of Habiganj, the elder brother was killed by stabbing of the younger brother over the ancestral home.
This incident happened on Monday (September 2) morning. Deceased Naushad Mia (40) son of deceased Kimmat Ali of Doakhani Mohalla. Since this incident, younger brother killer Juned Mia (25) has escaped.
According to local sources, there was a dispute between Naushad Mia and Junaid Mia over the ancestral home for a long time. In the morning, there was an argument between them. At one point, Junaid Mia became agitated and stabbed her elder brother Naushad Mia. The local people immediately rescued him and took him to Baniachong Upazila Health Complex where the doctor on duty declared him dead.
Baniachong police station (OC) Aminul Islam said, Naushad’s body has been sent to Habiganj 250-bed district headquarter modern hospital for post-mortem. Police are trying to arrest the killer. He will be brought under the law soon.
