Eight proposals were put forward in a consultation meeting to amend the ‘International Crimes (Tribunals) Act, 1973’. The exchange meeting was held at the judicial administration training institute of the capital on Monday.
Adviser on Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs. In the exchange meeting chaired by Asif Nazrul, the proposed draft amendments were presented to make the “International Crimes (Tribunal) Act, 1973” timely.
The proposed draft amendments include 3 new sections namely 4A, 13A and 20A and 2 new sub-sections namely 3(3) and 12(2). Besides, amendments are proposed in Section 3(2)(a), 4(2) and Section 19.
Many people who attended the discussion meeting on the proposed amendment expressed their valuable opinions.
