Sylhet-Bholaganj Bangabandhu highway accident killed husband and wife in truck-private car collision. The incident took place on Monday (July 1) evening at Dhopagul area adjacent to Sylhet Osmani Airport.
The deceased are Abdus Sabur Mia (27), son of Abdul Malek, and his wife Rahena Akhtar (22) of Bardhamai village of Juri upazila of Moulvibazar district. Two more people were injured. They have been admitted to Osmani Medical College Hospital. It is said that all the injured were passengers of private cars.
Sylhet Airport Police Station OC Mohammad Nunu Mia has confirmed the truth of this matter.
