Bahubal (Habiganj) Representative//
In Bahubal upazila of Habiganj, elder sister Mira Munda (26) was killed by her younger brother’s knife. The younger brother Rajen Munda, accused in the incident, has been arrested by the police.
Rajen Munda is the son of deceased Bhadra Munda of Rampur tea plantation in Bhadeshwar union of Munda upazila.
On receiving the news, the police recovered the body on Tuesday (July 2) morning and sent it to Habiganj district headquarters modern hospital morgue for autopsy.
In this regard, Bahubal Model Police Station (OC) Moshiur Rahman said that on Monday midnight, Mira Munda had an argument with her younger brother Rajen Munda over a trivial incident. At one point in Bakbitanda, Rajen gets excited and hits his sister with the sabal in the house. He died on the spot. He said that Rajen Munda will be further questioned at the police station in this regard.
