Battery powered rickshaws will not be allowed to run inside Moulvibazar city. And action will be taken against illegal CNG.

On Tuesday (October 14) in the morning of Moulvibazar District Commissioner’s conference room, Superintendent of Police H. Jahangir Hossain told PPM about the decision in the district law and order meeting.

Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate Md Israel Hossain presided over the meeting and representatives of various organizations including Army, BGB were present in the meeting. Meanwhile, the Superintendent of Police said that there are 34,000 CNG in Moulvibazar district. We will investigate how they have increased so much and we will arrest those who do not have updated documents and take legal action. He also said that there are about 15,000 tomtoms in the city, which were allowed to run by the former municipal mayor. No representative of our police was kept then regarding permission. Whenever there is a traffic jam in the city, the police are blamed at various levels. Gradually TomToms will also be brought under the law.
