District detective police arrested two drug dealers named Md. Monir Mia (20) and Md. Sohag Mia (21) with 6 kg of ganja in Brahmanbaria. They were arrested on the 2nd bridge of Sheikh Hasina Road from Brahmanbaria to Vijayanagar last Thursday night.
Arrested Md. Monir Mia is the son of Shahjahan Mia of Ghilamura village in Paharpur union of Vijaynagar upazila and Sohag Mia is the son of Mizanur Rahman of Swapur village in Dharmagar union of Madhavpur upazila. A case has been filed at Vijaynagar police station in this incident.
This information was disclosed in a press release sent from Police Media Wings, Brahmanbaria. According to the press release, a team of district intelligence police arrested them on the bridge No. 2 of Sheikh Hasina road from Brahmanbaria to Vijayanagar on the basis of secret information.
