A drug dealer has been arrested in a drive by the District Detective Branch (DB) in Srimangal, Moulvibazar.
On Sunday night, a DB team led by District Detective Branch SI Abu Naiyum Mia conducted a drive and arrested drug dealer Ratan Pal (45) from Dhobarat, Shamsheganj, Mirzapur Union, Srimangal. During this, DB members recovered 500 pieces of Yaba from the custody of the detainee. The arrested Ratan Pal is the son of the deceased Gapesh Pal of Binnigram, Moulvibazar Sadar Upazila.
DB SI Abu Naiyum Mia said that a case has been filed against the arrested accused and a fugitive person at Srimangal Police Station under the Narcotics Control Act.
