A gas-powered auto-rickshaw carrying passengers lost control in Kamalganj, Moulvibazar, killing two students. Three others were injured in the incident.
The accident occurred on Wednesday (November 6) afternoon when the CNG vehicle lost control in the Battal area of Srimangal Road in Kamalganj. Md. Sayem Mia (18) and Amit Sutradhar were killed. The deceased were students of Kamalganj Gano Mahavidyalaya. Jannatul (11) and Saikat Dev (17) were seriously injured in the incident. The identity of the other injured passenger could not be confirmed. Locals rescued the injured and sent them to the hospital.
Kamalganj Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Iftekhar Hossain said that the police have recovered the bodies of the two deceased.
