Nobel Peace Prize winner Dr. Interim Government Chief Advisor. Muhammad Yunus said that the second victory won by the students in the popular uprising will not be allowed to fail. He said, it is the responsibility of all of us to move forward remembering the supreme sacrifice of others including Abu Saeed. Abu Saeed is an epic character. In the future, many poems, many literatures, many things will be written about it. He shocked the world.

Begum Rokeya University student of Rangpur, who was shot dead by the police during the quota reform movement on Saturday, met the family members of Abu Saeed. At this time, he said, it is our responsibility to build a new Bangladesh. Everyone should come forward to build a new Bangladesh by remembering the supreme sacrifice of Abu Saeed and others. Abu Saeed is not just a family, he is a child of all families in Bangladesh. We are all Bangladeshis. This Bangladesh is Abu Saeed’s Bangladesh. There is no discrimination here.
Saturday morning at 10:30 by helicopter Dr. Muhammad Yunus landed at the Marine Academy in Pirganj. Later, the chief advisor went to Abu Saeed’s house in Babanpur village of Pirganj upazila of Rangpur district and consoled his parents. At this time, the atmosphere of the whole area became heavy with the cries of the family members. The Prime Minister visited the grave of Adviser Abu Saeed and spoke to the family members for a while.
When the chief adviser later went to Abu Saeed’s house, his father Maqbul Hossain and mother Monowara Begum burst into tears. Monoara Begum said, “My son was shot dead by the police like a bird.” He demanded justice for the murder of his son. At this time, the chief adviser consoled everyone and handed over the national flag to Abu Saeed’s parents and family members.
During the visit to Rangpur, the chief adviser was accompanied by the adviser on postal, telecommunication and information technology affairs. Nahid Islam, Youth and Sports Adviser Asif Mahmud Sajeeb Bhuiyan, Anti-Discrimination Student Movement Coordinator Sarjis Alam and others.
At that time Rangpur Divisional Commissioner Zakir Hossain, Deputy Commissioner Mobaswer Hasan and senior officials of district and upazila administration were present. This was the chief adviser’s first visit outside Dhaka after taking oath. Security was beefed up in the area on his arrival.
The Chief Adviser later went to Rangpur Medical College Hospital to see the injured in the quota reform movement by road from Pirganj. From there, he went to Begum Rokeya University and spoke to the students.
In an exchange meeting with teachers and students at the administrative building of Begum Rokeya University, the chief adviser said that the studying youth will remember Abu Saeed and pledge to be like him. They will say – I will also fight for justice like Abu Saeed.
Abu Saeed is now in every house in the country. Muhammad Yunus said, “He is the child of all irrespective of caste and creed.” He urged everyone to be vigilant against any anarchy and to be careful that no one should speak against any religion.

The chief adviser also said, we are children of this soil, we are all Abu Saeed. It is everyone’s responsibility to protect everyone irrespective of caste and religion. We have to make sure of it and stand up like Abu Saeed.
Nobel laureate Dr. Muhammad Yunus requested everyone not to divide the people of Bangladesh and said, we are all Bangladeshis. We are children of Bangladesh.

Bangladesh is now united Bangladesh. This Bangladesh is Abu Saeed’s Bangladesh, there is no discrimination in this Bangladesh, my request to you all – protect everyone, let there be no anarchy.
Remembering the martyred Abu Saeed, the chief adviser said, “I went to Abu Saeed’s house today, he only died here – not that.” We read epics, epics have heroes, tragic events happen. These heroes and heroines are terrible characters. Abu Saeed is an epic character. whose image is engraved in the heart of every Bangladeshi. No one can forget it. What an incredibly brave young man he was.’
He said, ‘Abu Saeed has shocked the world. After people saw the picture of him being shot, people could not be stopped. Everyone then thought that I am Abu Saeed. Kill as much as you can. The whole world is shocked. What you have done is not only the case of Bangladesh. Everyone is seeing how a government can be overthrown by these students. What you have done, I call it the second victory festival. So that this victory festival does not slip from our hands.
Addressing the students, the chief advisor said, ‘Your ability is the ability to make the impossible possible. Not only Bangladesh, you can change the whole world. Don’t retreat. We failed, we failed. We could not take you to the place where you were supposed to go. Do not fail.

Let those who come after you say that we could not enter because you blocked the way. Let no one’s path be blocked. You will not hold back, let no one hold back in the future.’
Calling students to hold the second victory. Muhammad Yunus said, this time should not fail. Many people stand to fail. You know, many will try to make you fail. We don’t have a holiday until we clean up.
Commenting that there is still a long way to go, the chief adviser said, “The destination is liberation.” No one can hold us back. The rules will continue as they are. Hindus are being attacked, Buddhists are being attacked. How many are there! Why bother with them! They are not the people of the country!
At this time, Dr. asked questions for the students. Muhammad Yunus said, ‘You have been able to save the country, can’t you save a few families? it hurts He was with you, his son was with you. But he went home and saw looting in his house. Begum Rokeya has freed women, now the whole of Rangpur will free the whole of Bangladesh.
It is to be noted that Abu Saeed was the first to be killed by the police at Park Mor next to Begum Rokeya University during the quota reform movement on July 16. He was buried in the village house the next day on July 17. Abu Saeed was a 12th batch student of English Department of Begum Rokeya University.
