A law and order exchange meeting was organized with religious and political leaders at the initiative of the Srimangal police station administration in Moulvibazar.
The meeting was presided over by Srimangal Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md. Aminul Islam at the Srimangal Police Station compound on Monday (December 2) afternoon. Religious, political and social leaders were present at the meeting.
In his speech as the chairman, Officer-in-Charge Aminul Islam said that the police are working tirelessly to maintain peace and order in Srimangal upazila and maintain religious harmony. He urged everyone to be careful of all kinds of propaganda and rumors.
The speakers at the meeting said that some people are trying to disturb the peaceful city. Some miscreants are inciting on Facebook. Everyone should be vigilant in this regard. In addition, it was demanded to strengthen police patrols along with yard meetings at each union to prevent theft and robbery.
Senior Assistant Superintendent of Police (Srimangal-Kamalganj Circle), Md. Anisur Rahman, was present as a special guest at the meeting.
